Picture from when he gave up his lunch hour to sit in on some meetings last month. He walked in and introduced him self and took a seat. One of the elders in the room recognized him as an up and coming land expert
And said he will be one of the guys carrying the trapping and hunting tradition forward in the future.

Bobby , I'm glad you took the time to attend the meeting with your dad , your opinion what you have seen during your lifetime of spending time out fishing , hunting , trapping and even picking berries one of my personal favorite things to do .

I hope school is going well for you also a educated person is one who is well rounded which I think you are well on your way to become !

What type of snare lock do you like best and what size trap is you're favorite ?

You're friend along the snare line .

I think Bobby gave up on his journal Allen. Lol
After trips he just tells me to update trapperman. He's using 1/16 With cam locks and hasn't messed with traps yet. Strictly a snare man for now. I'll check with him tomorrow if he gives any thought to an update on here.

Well darn it Ryan , I hope he changes his mind I like many others are interested in what his thoughts are and how they may change as he develops as a person who harvests the many renewable resources available ha ha .

I'm glad to hear that he enjoys setting snares they're my personal favorite also !

Just remember Bobby there are some of us that haven't caught a wolverine or lynx yet or even came close and we are much older than he or have gone grizzly bear , moose or caribou hunting so we're jealous and want to hear about what you folks get to do on a regular basis . So hold your head high my young man ! Ha ha

You're friend along the snare line .

Way to go Bobby, I wish I lived up by you so you could show this old man how to snare Lynx. You're doing great, keep it up and please keep us posted on your adventures. Most of us don't have the neat critters to trap that you have up by you. Stay safe.
