They just had some major issues make sure it’s not a scam. This right here. Sounds really fishy to me.

Are you using Microsoft Outlook through Microsoft 365? Microsoft 365 is a subscription based service. My recommendation, and what I do, is to purchase a standalone copy of Microsoft office. You can buy one off of eBay probably for 40 bucks. There is no subscription. One time purchase. When you install the software it will give you an option on which applications you want to install, just pick Microsoft Outlook.
I have Gmail but sinc it to Microsoft Outlook. Using Outlook is easier than using the web-based version of Gmail.
My Gmail account is synced in the Microsoft outlook along with my RR email. The Gmail still works.

A couple weeks ago I had an issue with my Yahoo mail.. It was due to a browser update on this computer. It locked me out of Yahoo mail.
I understand that is a browser issue not a Yahoo server issue. Nevertheless I got out my old win7 laptop that I knew had not been updated for at least a year. Opened yahoo mail and got right in. While there I transferred out everything I wanted to keep. Probably won't work for you since it isn't a browser issue but it might be worth trying with an old device. It did require some creative vocabulary. I've got an older laptop out in the lure shed. I'll give that one a try tomorrow.
