I have never used Rue Oil.

This is a quote, from Sherm Blom, USDA.

Rue Oil is seldom used but a good ingredient. It contains methyl ketones which give it a Cheesy odor.
Use sparingly at 3 to 5 drops per pint of lure since it over powers other odors.
