The twilight zone movie has a much scarier version of nightmare at 20000 feet. The gremlin was horrific Kinda like the second remake of the movie "IT". Pennywise the clown was more horrifying than in the original movie played by Tim Curry.

I watched Twilight Zone, Outer Limits and Night Gallery and couldn't get enough. I don't remember which one had this story, but it was the episode with the guy running down the streets of some city and realizing that he is the only person there. He was yelling "Where is everybody?????" I felt like that one time years ago when I had to fly into Chattanooga on a Sunday night to train clients on Monday. I rented a car at the airport and drove through the city to get to the hotel. At one point, I realized that there were no other cars on the road. I sat at a red light by myself and then (when it turned green) I rolled into the intersection and looked up and down for cars. There were none. No movement. No headlights. Nothing. That line from The TV show came to me and made me laugh. I was still sort of laughing as I looked for the hotel, but felt better when I got there and found a few people. ... I just looked it up and found it was the first episode of the first season of The Twilight Zone from 1959 - I wasn't alive then! I must have seen a whole lot of reruns! All great. Sorry, Foxkidd44. You sparked a fun conversation!

You sparked a fun conversation! I’m glad it has indeed sparked a good topic.. The episode was “ where is everybody “ Earl holliman, who was later known better in police woman. Earl passed not too long ago. My top 10 episodes and in no particular order,, The howling man The hunt The changing of the guard The obsolete man Night of the meek The passerby It’s a good life I am the night, color me black The grave Deaths head revisited

Patrice, I had a similar experience in Sea-Tac, the day Covid locked down the USA. My son and I had flown from Alaska to Santa Barbara to visit my folks, and Covid had really started to spread while we were down there. Places were closing daily, and by the time we were to leave, we were not sure if we would be able to fly home. We were the last flight out of Santa Barbara that was allowed to leave for a few days, and when we got to Seattle and got off the plane, what is normally an experience in human congestion was nearly completely empty. Every shop was closed and gated, and the only humans we saw for all of concourse C were the handful of passengers on our plane. And you could have heard a pin drop. It was creepy as all get out. The next morning, at 12.01 a.m., Alaska was in full lock-down. And I also was, and still am a fan of all the Twilight Zone episodes.
Just doing what I want now.

Weird stuff! At least the TV show was fun. When it hits real life it's a different story!

I’d add
Will the real Martian please stand up
The monsters are due at Maple Street
Time enough at last
A stop at Willowby
Queen of the Nile
The midnight sun
Time enough at last, is definitely a runner up to my top 10. Midnight sun was really good too
