I've had the OnX app on my phone for several years. I started last year using it to mark my set locations and it has been very valuable for that. I make notes as to how many traps are at one spot and what bait/lure i used.

My questions are, is there a way to do a bulk delete of the waypoints. I have hidden them but it seems every few days they repopulate the screen. I trap some of the same ground at different times. Like one ranch I had set for coyotes and I pulled those, hid all the waypoints and last week set up some wold traps and will add some cat sets next week when the season opens. We were out this morning to check and when I pulled up the app there were all the old waypoints again. I did a restart on the phone and when I went to the app the old waypoints were there for a second then went away leaving just the current set locations.

If there isn't a bulk delete can a new map be started? Be gentle guys. I'm a bit of a technotard.

While I'm not a tech nerd and am not sure I have the exact answer you are looking for. I too use onX and do the same thing you do, keep track of catches, note bait and lure combo's but I do not hide or delete any of my set locations. I use the color choices (for the waypoint) to keep track of what is a live set (I mark those green), not functioning/no trap they're (red), possible set locations are marked blue. This way I can see where I've been, where I haven't, and what has a live trap on it. at the end of the year I have a bunch of red marks on my maps in areas I trap it gives me a good idea year over year where my good spots are.

Like I said, not quite what you were looking for but thought I'd share.

I don’t know of any way to bulk delete other than doing it one by one. As mentioned I use different color codes for years and when I reach the limit, just delete the old year. Of course after a couple of years trapping the same properties I really don’t need years of data…just mark new ones every year and that’s only because I still lose where I am sometimes when a thick fog rolls in and it’s still dark.
My turkey waypoints and tracks stay for out of state places and WMA’s. Pretty much learned those as well and just use them incase I get lost, lol.

On the map the bottom taskbar should have a my content tab. Click on it. On the list, you can select waypoints. A check mark that says select will be near top left. Click it. You can then check each individual box or select the 3 dots at the top and click select all.
