Must have been crossed with a badger at some point in his family lineage.

Hard soil 10 inches. Soft 12 to 14. I use fox hollow earth anchors with a retrieval boss. Just pull the cable and chain together and they pop right out of the ground. All I run now for coon, coyote, and any other foothold situation.
