I've been buying Dave's killer bread, small slices, but supposed to be one of the better breads

exactly , it is lower carb

but total carbs is total carbs , you really need to test and see how it effects you as people produce insulin differently.
it is lower carb at 9 per slice

also 1 slice is the serving size so unless it is a open face sandwich you are getting 18 carbs

best plan would be test eat a slice wait 1 hour and test and see if it is good

a typical slice of bread is 15-23 carbs it varies a lot based in the bread.

If we listened to what everyone told us we would be eating tree bark and drinking rain water. LOL It’s tough with the games the food folks play with listing foods and the names they give different forms of sugars. I see a lot of no sugar foods that say “not a low calorie source” but a man’s got to eat something so pick your best poisons.

Net carb labeled food still raises my blood sugar numbers. Just takes a little longer.

I've been using the low carb tortillas as wraps for sandwiches, and 1 slice of my sourdough with my eggs sometimes....that has worked well for me.

I didn't know there are Hawaiian rolls - I need to try those. Im sure toasted with some real nice buttah will be perfect. And the tortillas...they sound great. I will look for these when I'm in town next time.

I wonder if they make English muffins too ?

Thank you, Patrice , you always have spot on knowledgeable input.
