There is nothing wrong with trying things out. My daughter tried starling after reading about maw making black bird in the little house books. She is also the reason I keep and tried my first beaver. We really enjoy beaver. Heck I cooked uo a Robin once because my wife's grandpaw said they were good so I had to try it.

To many people are not willing to even eat what they kill or try it..

agreed I loved it I'm just glad I wasn't forced.

I have eaten all the different birds from A LOT sparrows to a few crows just to reassure you that everything tasted great (even the crow)
