does anyone have some good pointers for good skunk only bait?

Try mini marshmallows that eliminates a few other critters but baits attract a verity of species. I use them in town on complaints and carp chunks out in the country sets. The louder the bait the more possums you will call in.

House cats are generally not attracted to marshmallows so they are less attracted to your cages that way so you don’t waste time needing to releasing them.

A good buddy of mine uses tainted beaver fleshings. Said the coons stopped filling his traps.

I wonder if that would work for possums as well? I had a possum problem this past summer.

I have found that skunks love hot dogs, I just get the cheapest ones I can find and use half a hot dog per skunk set.
Another good bait is the cracklins from rendered skunk fat .
