Today the line yields three coyotes and a coon!!!!

Yeah not too bad. Last night was a bunch more rain/snow so today was rebedding all the traps in dry stuff.

Yesterday was a cool day to check. There was just the right amount of snow to really read tracks good. Learning a lot about how coyotes hunt in my area. Even found a couple of spots where coyotes had caught and killed rabbits. Pretty cool stuff. Got a couple new sets out in some areas I never really thought about setting. Did not see any cat tracks…still waiting for them to come back through

I love when it snows for that reason. Stories are told in the snow.

Another gray fox today. Also, my son and I got some of our fur shipped out for sale. Excited to see the results. Wish I could’ve had it all ready, but was thankful to be able to get some of it out anyways.

Well everyone this is the last post on the “Last Push”. Today I went to check and found that someone had figured out I had traps set. Most of the traps you can tell they looked for but could not find. But they did end up following my foot prints and finding a couple. They stole one trap and a drag and they tried to steal another trap but it was anchored down and they couldn’t get it pulled up. I was forced to pull everything. This is a product of trapping public land. The Bible tells us that “ human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” James 1:20
So I choose not to be angry. I have had dozens and dozens of traps stolen over the years. It is unfortunate but it is the way it is. Next year I will go at it again and love it just as much as I always do. This was a fun thread to keep going and I appreciate everyone following along.
