the boys and me went shed hunting today no sheds
we bid find a #2 bridger with two small foot bones? in it
looks like from last year
wasn't staked or tied to anything
had a tag that had the neighbors who is also a fur buyers name on it
when we stopped by to return it he wasn't around left it on his skinning table
now he gets to wonder who and where for a while

lots of good stories though

When I was a kid my dad trapped.

He had a trap in a crawl under on his parents place along the county road.
One morning the chain was hanging over the fence and no trap.
There was an old trapper who was suspected of stealing catches along the road and dad figured it was his doing.

A few years later, old man we knew was bird hunting a couple miles from where the trap was lost and found trap and remains of a foot (presumed coyote) in it. Trap was not marked but he knew dad trapped so he brought it to him.

Other old man was cleared of being a thief in that case anyway
