Has anyone been watching the series he did with Heather and her dad in Alaska? It’s very interesting. Seal hunting, seal oil rendering, sea otter hunting, etc… good stuff

I especially like the part where he talks about the need for harvesting an apex predator that's been reintroduced and protected too long that it's throwing the ecosystem out of balance. He's not talking about wolves, but he should bend the ear of his brothers to the east here.

Another great episode is when they are fishing for halibut. The hooks her dad makes are crazy

Steve Rinilla has a thing for SE Alaska. Which is cool, and all. The attention brought to the areas won’t be beneficial, in the long run, for locals.
