charles OP trapper C Joined: Aug 2010 Asheville, NC	While visiting theUS cemetery in Normandy, France, I picked up three acorns. I’d like to plant them this week. how deep? Should I move their container outside now, or after they sprout? Should I put the acorns in the refrigerator or freezer first?

Charles, if you just got them off the ground,, they should be be cold stratified and ready to plant. Bury the acorns about twice their length, in good soil, outside now. Keep the soil moist, but not overly wet. Keith
