That pile in the background of the pic is all oak, and it smells great as the thermals rise off it in the mornings....jk mentioned selling the nice red oak logs, but they don't bring that much here.

We sell the nice straight white oak logs to a stave mill nearby, but that market is down somewhat due to tariffs and their effect on whiskey exports.

Firewood gets in your blood....It's getting close to 50 yrs of processing now....Started out helping my father cut, haul, split, plus feed 2 woodstoves in a big farmhouse on the Tennessee river.
