Wonderful Wife has one and loves it. She has had it for 2-3 years and has had no problems at all.

It is Carbon Fiber and only weighs about 37 pounds. It folds down for loading into a car. Battery life is excellent. When we bought it we ordered an extra battery, just in case.

Sometimes when she uses it on our lawn she gets a little nervous, or if there are ruts in the road or wherever she is using it. She is afraid of it tipping forward. We have been talking about the possibility of getting some larger wheels for it for "off-roading".

A really nice feature is being able to disengage the motors so I can push her manually in congested areas, getting onto elevators, etc. It is done simply by pushing or pulling the levers on the motors with my foot.

She goes all over the place with it and we keep it in the back of our vehicle. It is fairly light and easy to get in and out of the vehicle.

All in all, we think it was a great purchase at an excellent price. It has really improved her mobility.

I bought one at auction. It doesn't work dead batteries. It was super cheap. Wondering about jel cell batteries. OP manual says charger doesn't charge if dead. Betting there is a way to do it. Dunno if thats all thats wrong.

Gotta get it some juice so it can respond to the charger.

if it is a lithium battery look up you tube videos on restoring dead lithium batteries.

you need to give them power in a particular way to get a little charge in them then the internal charge controller will allow them to charge again. unless there is a bad cell.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Pretty easy to do if you have a spare working battery, or an equivalent voltage one....it's like jump starting but you need very little juice to overcome the charge controller....just "jumping" with a few quick touches usually does it....but you need to be very careful of fires.....thus the quick touches

Wheel chair batteries are not that expensive to replace if you are at all handy. Most use dual 12v SLA / AGM or lithium ion batteries. You can replace SLA / AGM batteries with lithium ion for more capacity just ensure they have the same case dimensions and terminal type and location. If replacing with lithium ion you will need to upgrade to a lithium rated charger which generally have a slightly higher output voltage than SLA / AGM batteries. Don't use a lithium ion charger on SLA / AGM batteries unless rated for both; the charge cycles are different.

Not as Jazzy-
Just replaced and upgraded Christine's wheel chair batteries (after 6 years) and fixed a broken wiring harness terminal, about an hour worth of work.
~$100.00 for both 20 amp-hr lithium LiFePO4 batteries, increased time of use by 30 percent and no. of recharge cycles ( life ) by 20 percent. Charger upgrade for lithium was $50.00.
Cost of 15 amp-hr SLA / AGM direct replacement batteries would have been $70.00 for comparison, both from Amazon.
Replacement 15 amp-hr to SLA / AGM batteries from the manufacturer are listed $250.00 on sale, $340.00 reg.
