Only hard thing with a long spring is price of replacement springs most of the time it’s more than a traps worth

I still don't understand why they don't just make them with coni style springs like in the big iorn or Rudy traps .

Those jaws look like a cut paw to me and the way the pan is mounted to the bottom of the frame will surely freeze down. Wonder if a set of jaws out of a MB 450 would fit?

As soon as they are available I'll take 2 dozen. Only thing I will do is upgrade the chains to #2 welded twist link and use them for otter.
