Well said Gerald. I took lessons in 2002 and thoroughly enjoyed it. As you said, no big secrets as to sets, lure or otherwise. His means to success were simple hard work and efficiency. Pick up that fence post to use at another set later. Move those rocks around now for a set backing this winter. Start earlier and stay later than everyone else. Etc. Etc. Just basic hard work and dedication. I'm sure many here have the same work ethic. Watching his dogs bring coyotes into the gun was awesome! He had VERY strong opinions on things; trappers, trapping methods, and most everything else that we talked about. A very entertaining and colorful character.

Thank Gerald for making this thread about O'Gorman again. Great trapper and you could really learn a lot about how to catch everything from his books and videos.
