get a time machine, go back in time and add a belly wedge when you put them on the boards...... grin

Or put the board in a vise and try yanking on the nose. Be careful, fox are no match for muscle.

I hear you can wrap a couple damp towels over them it will put as lil more moisture in them.

Yep, you needed to put a belly wedge in. I have forgotten belly wedges on so many coon, I don't even want to talk about it. My NAFA guy told me that if worse comes to worse, split the critter with a knife down the belly. I would guess, this is ok for fox. I asked him if I will be downgraded on the auction and he said it didn't make any difference, they are going to be cut up sooner or later anyway. Before cutting, you might try freezing them, then drop the nose of the fox/board on a concret floor to break it loose and apply above techniqe.

You're not going to have much luck with this method if your fox is fur side out, which it is, based on your original post.

Run it across a vaporizer, like the ones you use for kids.

YES!!

all but one fox came free once i pulled the nose back and tapped the tip of board on floor. the last one took a little extra effort. a super long flat head screw driver (24") inserted into leg holes and gently slid arounf inside ...then tap and off!
thanks so much everyone. this is what this site is for!!
with out the help of others, i would be still very frustrated.

Try setting them outside overnight, then use the vice thing mentioned above. I take it they are now fur out, so wet towels may not help.
