I caught a big boar coon at creek earlier this year using peppermint oil, then it rained and the creek was too deep to retrieve my trap. when the water went down I went down there and I could still smell the peppermint after a week of being underwater. Put some out at a dirthole that wasn't getting any action and the next day a coyote dug out the trap. Has anyone ever used mint oil as a call lure for canines with any luck?
