i cant get those dang this on the #3 bridger and i keep snapping my fingers how do you guys get them on?
its so hard to get them on the two arm things please help me out asap

Try gutting a plastic ink pen an use the long tube.

I just use my fingers and push them until they snap in the groove. I've gotten a few blisters, but nothing to write home about.

1/4" pipe 10" long works great.

can you put music spring liek the ones thye sell at gander mt on duke 2s? im guna put some on if ya can to make it stronger.

i just used a srew driver and made sure not to put my finger where the spring could get it lol.... but good luck!

If you fellers remove the pans and clamp the base of the trap in a vice it is a very simple thing to do. If you don't you'll fight with it and likely break your pinky finger. (better late than never???) lol

Use a nut driver with a hole up the center or a piece of aluminum heavy wall tubing with a 3/16 hole in it.put over the spring and set it behind the lever.
THe part below the dog is a spring pin.
I do what ADC said,remove the pan,I drill it out at this time for the #10 brass pan bolt.

I have a solid white part on my fingernail that is just about grown out... I sucked it up and spent 2 bucks with my shipment from snare shop and bought a tool made to put them on... use a vice and use the proper tool and you should have no problems at all. Most any trap catalog co has them for 2 bucks.

I like a small nut driver better than the "tool" made for the purpose.

maybe the ones I have are differnet, cause I could not get them to work as well, but I know that a lot of the pro's use a small nut driver as well. I just have not been able to use the one's I have as easy as the tool.
besides, I don't ever want to admit I like small (or large for that matter) nuts more than anything else...

I use 10mm box end wrench.
