After boiling, you pulled the traps back through the same wax that you melted off of them that floated to the surface in your container.
Antidote: Boil to remove the wax; then, leave the traps submerged in your container until everything is cold. There will be a "crust" on the surface of the liquid in your container that represents the wax from the traps that you melted from them. Pull the traps out from the bottom of that cold fluid + done!

I put them in a fire one at a time and don't leave it in there very long, and before you'll go off about temper and all that you should know what temps still has to reach befor the trap lose its temper, we,er talking wax removel here not very lone in the fire.
Do it with what you got and you wont need what you do not have

This is what happend I am sure. What I did to try and stop it was to add fresh water till I overflowed the pot causing the wax layer to overflow on to the ground. I will try the sani flush. I added dish washing liquid already. Thanks for all the help.

I just de waxed a dozen MB650's, I boiled them in laundry soap and water, then I skimmed the wax from the top and took them out, It seemed to work any way I took them to the car wash and finished the job. Now they are out side to rust a little before I dye and re wax

"I added dish washing liquid already." I use dishwasher soap that is a powder not the liquid, not sure if that helps???
