I'm not a huge fan of Salmon but, living in AK I do eat a lot of it. The best way I have found to cook it is this way.

1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/4 cup minced Garlic "I use the Precopped stuff"
1 package itialan dressing mix
2 TSP vinger "I use balasinic Viniger"
3 green onions
5 stripes of half cooked bacon
salt and pepper to taste "I used seasoned pepper"

Make sure to skin the salmon

Mix oil, garlic, itialian dressing mix, and chopped green onion together. put fish in tin foil put two slices of bacon on bottom. At the oil garlic mix to the top. Add pepper and salt. Put the last three pieces of bacon on top. Cook on medium low temp grill with a few smoker chips. Fish is done with it will flake with a fork. It is really easy to make and I think it taste good.

Woodelf what do you mean by seasoned pepper? I always grind my pepper from peppercorns when i use pepper to get full flavor... One can tell differance between already ground sitting around black pepper and pepper you just ground.

I buy this stuff called seasoned pepper. It has thre or four different kinds of pepper in it. Fresh pepper corn works well too. I just like a little zip in it.
