My coon lure is based on wild cherry, our coon bait is wild cherry as well-- John

im not a lure maker .... but seems like a lil cherry extract mixed with beaver castor would be deadly on the coon and rats ... just not sure how well the two would blend Gary I was told once buy a reputable lure maker that the two mix very well. Ive never tried it but that was what I was told.

I've been using a mix of castor and cherry extract for years. I find that beavers are actually quick to respond. Rats and coons too. But usually I am doing everything but trying to target coons. LOL
Mix the two with petroleum jelly and a little glycerine. Good consistency and holds up well.
