Thought I would post some pics of the trap stake puller I made. I use rebar or about anything 1/2" round stock and double stake my K9's. I have not graduated to cable stakes yet because I work in a machine shop and scrap steel for me cost next to nothin. I was gettin tired of diggin and pullin up stakes so I thought I would make me a trap stake puller. It works pretty dag gone good. If you can make one it will save you some time and sweat.

Looks pretty cool. I might have to try my hand at making one. I will probably use cable but there isn't any problem with rope

Good Idea and thanks for sharing. I have always just used my coni setting tongs to grab and pull stakes but I might make one of those to lighten my load as I walk into most of my sets.

Grabbing the stake is the first stage. It looks like you've got that mastered.

The second stage is to pull it out without pulling out your insides (hernia). This is what I use whenever I can get to it:

Hi, I use an old car jack from the 60's. It a little slow but saves your back. works really good for me.I have the base for it too.
