last years season. in this pic i believe is 50 coon caught within the first 4 days of season. i averaged 7.60 for the lot, just green Nice...fur buyers weren't even touching coon in Texas last year and with the few fur buyers we have (less than 6 now and scattered all over the state) you won't get anything to travel to them since the cost of gas will beat out the price you receive for the fur.

I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but I have found that if I put a cotton ball with some coyote gland lure on it in an old sardine can with a little fish oil, I seem to pick up mostly the bigger, older, boar coons. I dont use much, just a large drop, but looking over my notes, it make a huge difference on sex and size of coons in my cages.
