cut them off right away put rubber bands on them and dry and cut them an where to cut them, level with pelt or wat thanks

Just cut the legs off so you have about 1" hole. If you want to use a rubber band do so BUT DON"T cut off the leg after It's dried. If you do you will leave a very hard and sharp edge. That just might hang up on somthing and tear the hide. It could also tear up a graders hand and then you will lose money.

Cut off the excess with sidecutter after using the rubber band.

Another thing you should all think about Is It's eaiser to flesh a coon if It's legs are cut off short to begine with. One swip across a short leg and your done. After my coon are boarded I just roll out the fur and spread It out so It closes the leg hole and displays the fur. Looks good In my opinion. No need for any rubber bands or clothes pins
