Ok thank you thats very helpful. Just put a live trap out and baited it for coon using a Marshmellow, Molasses, and almond extract. Hope it works. Also a trapping friend mentioned that animals tend to, when in fields, run for the closest cover.

The first 3 pictures look like DECENT locations. Not real good though. The last 2 pictures look like K9 locations not really coon tho. No reason for the coon to walk along that field. If it was a corn field then sure but that just looks like a hay field. Might get a wondering coon though.

Last pic is where I found this:

Dirt everywere from digging, you can slightly see the hole

Worn path(made by something) leading to the hole

I am very convinced that its a yote den because about a hundred feet away there was some tannish looking fur. and you can see some tracks to.

Are these good coon locations?

Tracks found around the area.

Three objects are in the track to show 3 toe lines.
Not sure whats this is.

Doesn't look like any den trees in those pictures. If there are den trees close by, they would be a good location.

For me it's 220's ... no bait no lure ... just blind set ... and here in my area that means coons coons and not just coons ... more like coons, otter, beaver, muskrat, mink, bobcat, skunk ... and that don't bother me one bit

I am not a great coon trapper this is only my third year of trapping but i have learned alot... What do you guys do with the meat.. i create a big pile out in my woods and catch some coyotes on trails to it, but is there people who buy the meat? if so where? I have heard about selling skulls of coons and an old friend should me how to get a coon head into a white coon skull in a matter of days. so im going to try that... I just dont have alot of money and any thing i can use to get some extra cash while im having fun walking through the woods trapping i would be willing to try....
