Wow...after reading this post, alo0ng with the video's on Steve's website, I can't believe how much I didn't know about a mole. I've got two of Steve's traps, and a couple of other mole traps...and I can't believe it, but I'm fired up to get out and catch these boogers in my own yard. I'll post pics when (and if) I catch one.

Hey, On Steve's traps...do you just about always have to set two? One for moles coming from one direction and one for moles coming the other?

I made the morning news this morning. Their expert gardener was recommending poison worms for mole control. He didn't quite convey my recommendations completely but it was better than poison worms. http://tristatehomepage.com/search-fulltext?&nxd_id=140464&shr=addthis

I started my first job last week on a small yard. So far I have pulled out 4 moles. I just got a new job yesterday that I start tomorrow. It is 3 acres. I can't wait to see what comes out of there!!

Ok got a few quick questions. Gonna add moles to my list of services, and luckily I have a friend who does mole jobs in town for another company and is showing me the ropes. He doesn't have the time to mess with moles anymore and wants me to take over. There are some super possibilities here and I'm excited to incorporate it with my lawn care business.
1. Why do moles make the mounds you see? I don't mean the tunnels, I mean the mounds.
2. Are moles blind?
3. When are moles the most active? Day or night?
4. When is the best time of day (or night) to set your traps?
5. Has anyone found a way to catch them alive and how?

Kendrick
