this will be my first season trapping, and ill be going after coons, among other things, and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the great info. haha.
i do have one question, however, that i cant seem to find anywhere.... when using coilsprings, what do all you guys/gals set your pan tension to, for coons?

Or if you are trapping fox and dry land coon you can cut a chunk of 2x4 and weigh it, for fox and dryland coon you want about 1.5 lbs of pan tension
I'm gonna be all over you like a hobo on a bologna sandwich
