Hi Guys, I have been a member of trapperman for a while but this is my first post. I was born here (AK) and have always enjoyed the outdoors (hunting, fishing, etc). Now I am raising my family here. I wanted to get my kids involved and figured trapping was a good route to take. You guys have really helped me accomplish that. I do appreciate it. With help from you guys, my kids (9, 7 and almost 5) have been trapping for three years now. They, as well as myself, have had the opportunity to trap ermine, squirrel, hare, marten, beaver and otter. I have been quite on here, my ears were open and my mouth shut, because I really haven’t had much to contribute. I figured I had been here long enough, that at minimum, I should say Thanks! You have all been a great help. -AK4Life
I would rather go to jail for spanking my child, than have them go to jail because I did'nt. -or- Teach your kids, or somebody else will.

Thanks Guys! Here is a test run for a picture. This was two days ago. My oldest(9) and I snowshoed around, got a couple bunnies and made 5 cubbies sets for lynx. (never got a lynx before) If this works I will try to post some more later tonight.

There are a few people up here that use argos like that. But you have to remember that moose is a canadian moose not a moose from alaska. You might be able to get away with that with a spike fork up here but not a real moose
Beaver, as many as stars in the sky!! Fighting one another to get in your trap, screaming take me Bill Tyler, take me!!

What'd they do with that moose's body? Looks like they chopped it off at the shoulders & stuffed the mount in the back of the Argo...

cold enough that I should be able to get back out on the line in the morning One nice thing this wet weather sure smoothed the river ice down. It should be good going
