I've run side by side tests when putting in two sets! One with yote urine and one with red fox urine.
Andy
Another test....
I put down a Burger king Hamberger on a plate.....I then put down a McDonalds hamberger on another plate, they both kinda look the same.
McDonalds was cooked and fresh
Burgerkings was not handled well by the person making it.... not cooked, 3 days old and the bun had mice poo on it.
If I was a human....I would choose the Mcdonalds burger to eat/smell, because the other burger is not attractive to me...
Same deal when talking about pee......How it is collected and handled is very important to the end user/smeller (the fox or yote)....if its junk (like coyote pee on one set) and good handled fox pee on another what would you go to?
Again, as I have said in the past "Use what you want" there is no right or wrong answer......
If all I had was fox pee, that is all I would use (to catch both), if all I had was yote pee, thats all I would use...I wouldn't go buy joe blows fox pee and think "Man, I'll be in the money now".....
I use urine that is from the most prevelant critter in the area....right or wrong? I also change up when I feel is needed....and to be honest, about 3/4 of my line has coyote pee and the other 1/4 fox pee....but, I see no difference in the catches.....both urines were collected by myself so urine I feel is of matching quality...(same food, colletion method, house keeping, etc.)
