Im a serious longliner and target mainly coon this is the first time ive seen this post and it took about 2 hours to go through and i learned alot of new things to try out on my arsenal next year thanks alot everyone who posted. And like said before dont limit your self to one style trapor set there is a time and place for many differnt traps sets i run dp legholds connibears and cages. use alot of conni bucket sets or blind connibear sets i take quite afew of my coon in connibears. Gang setasmuch as possible and get some dps you shouldnt be dissapointed.

Anybody know why Ohio's season ends for coon so soon. Right now the weather is just starting to break and the coons start running again? Other states its still open, just curious. Also, are rubs that bad, I mean they're on the back of the neck but not down that far and they still have the main backside fur I just don't understand why they dock so much for that? Is it just a reason to dock but not a good one?
