been trying for them the last few years and nothing yet. had one on a #4 this winter.(know it's small but that was all i had at the time) chewed on everything around it, heart pumping tracking it into thick willows only to find the drag and the trap... no wolf. the drag got caught, wrapped around a few trees until the chain and the wire was tight and pulled out. from there everything got frustrating so i pulled whatever i had and was done for the winter. been working on some snares so i'll use more of those next winter. good pics, like the sets.

haha... certainly will be investing in a few mb's this summer, make more snares and alot more bait. was talking with one of the guys here in the vill and he had mentioned that there was #6 foot holds that he was interested in. havent heard of #6... any of you guys? Haven't heard of a #6, but to save you some issues, just buy some #9's. Expensive but well worth the price.

Seems to me years ago when I was buying Livestock Protections, their 6 3/8 double long spring was known as a 6. The 7 and the 8 came along, successfully bigger and now it seems as though the 6 is known as a 4...my memory is kind of going though and I could be making this up. Of course I canned all the pans that came on them so no way to substantiate my claim.
