Man is it hot! Thermometer in the shade says 92 at 6 PM. I had an unofficial 89 here yesterday in fire camp at Moose Mountain. We are popping fires like mad. Could be a good ($-wise) summer shaping up. Several big fires going already and lots of firefighters coming into Fairbanks to be shipped out to the camps. Pete

I think those are different age class fish. Sockeye smolts will still have spots until they are ready to hit saltwater. Then they go through the smolting process and turn silver. We just released the last of our fish out here at Main Bay, where we raise sockeyes. All of the fry we are currently raising are spotted right up.

Talking about $5.00 a gallon Gasoline again by later in mid July. report by Goldman Saks!
Even if they increase the Permanent Fund payment, will that increase be enough to offset the higher costs associated with increased gas prices ?
