Raining hard here today and supposed to rain harder tomorrow, but overall we have been drier than usual. The streams are so low the fish were starting to develop lungs.

Interesting how just a few 100 miles makes such a difference.

Been a cool wet summer here, no smoke though.

Lots of rain here as well. More coming today and tomorrow. Up to 2 inches in 6 hours. Ketchikan is expecting double that!

These short blonde people have been staying at my house for the past couple of days because their dad is pulling a double (48 hr) shift at the fire department and their mom went to Kodiak on a photo trip.

and I bet you guys are waiting for the caribou to run by your door this fall yet..I wish we had a local herd here..but have to travel quite a ways for them.

Haven't seen a caribou in several years.
