Dave Plueger OP trapper D Joined: Jan 2007 Iowa (where the tall corn grow...	Gonna give it one more try tomorrow. Went out today and found a whole whopping two roots. One was a pretty darn nice one though. Found it all alone, on the top of a bluff outcropping. Wish there would have been more than one, but I'm thankful I didn't get skunked. Been another enjoyable season nonetheless, just ended a little sooner than I would have liked.

Your right on Don. I counted around 40 bud scars, give or take. When I saw the size of the stalk on the plant I figured it would be a good one before I ever started digging. LOVE those finds!!
