I have cll,,chronic lymphocytic leukemia,,lymphnodes in my throat had been bothering me for 6 months,,cough irritated etc. I been back in Philippines 3 weeks eating fresh antioxident fruits and today i noticed no more irritation. I been drinking apotot juice,,calamansi,,a mini type lemon. Guyabano and coconut juice,,all alkaline.

coconut water doesnt taste great,,not bad either but its very alkaline and they claim the cancers cant survive in an alkaline environment.

I tried the coconut water and you are correct about the taste. Took the time to read up on what you said about an alkaline enviroment. I am currious if but adding it to my diet how it will affect my over all health ?

sorry guys i dont read this column much. The coconut water has tons of benefits,,as does the guyabano, mangosteen etc.....problem is availability,,it all comes and goes out of season. When i run out of it i feel the cancer creeping.

I too have cll. Doctor found it in Oct,08. After less than 6 months of treatment thankfully I am in full remission. Have taken 39 treatments of Rotuxin with 12 to go. Thank God for a wonderful prognosis. Oh by the way, caught my first 2 otters this year.

I actually went in to see the local ear, nose, and throat doc and he found swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Cut one out and sent off and came back CLL. My blood work has always been normal just swollen nodes- My cancer doc is one of the best in this country so I asked him what would he do in my shoes. He said take the treatments and get it behind me. thats what I'm doing. Almost done now and Thank God everything looks great.

its a catch 22,,they say now dont mess with it unless its causing u big probs. Wifes cousin was diagnosed at 6 yrs old,,no meds only natural foods here. She is now 26 and hasnt seen a dr for cancer in 20 yrs. I have read alot of literature on it,,they say cancer cant survive well in an alkaline invironment,,thats my methods of choice. I feel it occasionally in my right hip (bone marrow)and lymphnodes in my throat. Dr friend told me many times ppl die of old age before cll kills them.

It's a personal choice for sure. My dad lived for 27 years with cll and lived to be 78 yrs old. His white cell count went to 110,000 before the dr said it's time to stop it-(4 year period)-His treatment saved his life and he lived a long time- doctor says it dosen't run in the family but I have it too now. Doc says in his 30 years as a oncologist I am the earliest diagnosed cll patient he has ever seen. I reckon that's a good thing...

This "alkaline environment", where is that? Are you saying you're changing the pH of your whole body? If you think that you are incorrect. The pH of the blood is highly regulated, stays between 7.35 and 7.45 unless you are very ill. CLL would also be exceedingly rare in a 6yr old girl. CLL is usually a slow one, glad to see you are doing well, no matter how you're doing it, that fact is all that matters.

Well stated. I chose to let the experts treat my cll. It has been rough at times but the cbc's do not lie. The ly#'s and ly%'s are now normal and have remained that way thankfully.
It is always the individual's decision as to the type of treatment if any.

she had leukemis not cll. I know its rare even in people my age according to the docs. The fact is she is now 26 and healthy. Had a baby boy 16 months ago.
Neighbor just died in usa feb 1,cancer,docs couldnt keep him alive. Fact is many die of the treatments and systems weakened by the treatments too. seen many die from cancer treated also.
I also had consulted with the james cancer center at o.s.u. hospitals before coming home to resume my course of action. At 53 yrs I figure im good to go,thus my plan of action. Never expected to make it past 60 anyhow. Been living on borrowed time the last few,,living like im dying so to speak. Im good to go and enjoying life to the fullest everyday.
