LOL yea, fun gotta work out in this stuff 10-12 hours a day no matter the temp! Pops ran his line yesterday at minus 43, and a buddy went out on a 14 hour hike following a wolf pack we are trying to figure out their new route. Whats your usual weather in MTV?

We dont get usual weather here we are close to the Bering Sea...mostly storm after storm,we can have rain almost anytime it does clear up by mid Febuary and -20-30 is about as cold as we get and then for only a week or two its kind of nice... realy smile

Nov.1st to march 31st, we get anything from +10-60's...a few yrs back i had to walk to work in minus 64 to turn an aircraft then walk the 4 miles home. The plane only shut one engine down while i unloaded and reloaded within 3-5 minutes. Then slid everything into the hangar. Was colder around the plane then walking to and from work. Man the rain must suck. I never had to trap in rainy conditions bet it can drag, usually in the spring once the suns up and shining i quit traps altogether and use only snares. Hate it when a nice bedded trap sticks out like a sore thumb!

our temp rose to a balmy -21, however the wind is blowing 25 putting the windchill at -52 currently with snow and blowing snow. Guess I will have to try to check tomorrow instead of today.

I just checked Ellis and I's "Bethel" line and we picked up two more fox. That makes 50 for the year. I have about 3 weeks left before they start to rub.
