Castor Gland OP trapper C Joined: Dec 2006 Central Minnesota	What would be considered a good odor fixing and preserving ingredient for a crayfish base bait or any bait for that matter?

Paul Dobbins "Trapperman custodian" Joined: Dec 2006 Goldsboro, North Carolina	I've played with ambergris as a fixative, but I'm not very impressed with it. I would classify it as a mild fixative at best. The real deal may have been different, but the artificial stuff is lacking, in my opinion.
