These things are used to hang Christmas lights/decorations on brick. It is a steel clip that uses compression to stay in place.

I had never heard of them, so had to look them up Brick Clip . I have seen times they may have been handy.

Wow I could use them in a bunch of ways , like on deck exclusion , where the hardware cloth meets the brick , I just glue it now . I was thinking you where talking about brick ties . Could be used to hold my traps on some of my funnel sets , good idea Phil

If what you are hanging is only applying downward pressure(bat nets, mist nets) I imagine they would work fine. I have doubts about outward pressure such as hanging bird netting though.

No I use screws and pipe strap on the wood part , glue it to the brick . I've built hundreds of custom decks so don't even go there .

Those things are genius! I just ordered some. Perfect for attatching a trap on side of house for brick climbing squirrels..... i think.

Maybe small fishing sinker would be enough for the down pressure.
