This is part of an email I got from my sister today. Any suggestions?
One of our hens roosting on the porch last night was killed by something we think--from the tracks--was a mink. We found the hen near the bottom of the steps this morning with its head bitten off Is there any way to repel them?
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Ok, I'll call my local "hire an otter". Thanks. I kinda wondered too, if it was really a mink. The "mink tracks" could be from a cat.... which is probably what I would catch if I set a mink sized cage trap.

Last I heard they took the chickens off the porch and put them in the barn for the night. I guess chickens aren't smart enough to perch up high like guineas.
