"I have female in my dads chimney and I am sure she has pups" If that is an accurate statement - be real careful where you put your hands, with or without gloves,we may be calling you stumpy if that female is still there. Also remember that she is above you, and if she dumps one, it flows downhill, from personal experience not fun catching a face full of coon poo. You can run the female up the chimney with a 50 foot sewer snake, and when you are certain she is out, protect the flue from re-entry,remove the young, and either relocate where the female will find them, or euthanize if required by law in your area.

Although being bitten several times by raccoons, ( most are not very impressive bites ) I find that most females will go about halfway up the flue and then stop. ( They really are not that fond of light ) I have never been bitten by a lactating female raccoon, no matter how much the babies cry. Having said this, I do keep track of where the female is, in conjunction to my fingers. There are billions of raccoons but I only have ten fingers. ( And one of them was broken years ago, so really only nine count ) Grab the babies as fast as you can and stick them in your pocket; they'll shut up almost immediately. ( Okay, I'm talking about toothless babies here. )

Depends on if you are competing on price or level of service. Funny thing about the service industry....it is not like buying a widget.

In the service industry you have to make a decision to be the best or the cheapest. If you try to do both you will go bankrupt. Your selling your time and you only have so much of it so don't let it go cheap

Well Paul, I was attacked by a German Shepherd when I was 8 years old and in defending myself I lost part of a finger. Now, my wife and daughter laugh and say I'm the sole member of the local "nine and a half fingers" gang. ;-)
