Anyone have the Samsung rugby smart? Just curious because I am do for an upgrade and I am wanting a tougher phone. I was going to get the regular rugby and seen the smart version. I'm really rough on things so military spec phone are what I need.

I had a military spec rugby once. My happy little granddaughter rather thanflipping it opened it manually and kept the pressure on to open it further and broke the hinge. I thought well that wasn't so tough but lucky it's warranted.Went to get a new one and they said the only part that wasn't warranted was the hinge and a new one was about 300 dollars. JB weld made it last until I was eligible for an upgrade. It wasn't very a professional looking repair but it worked and it was what I could afford at the time.
As a bonus everytime I looked at the JB I thought of the smile on her face as she cracked the hinge.
I'm ready for a new phone now so pitch in here guys we need some advice.

I recently upgraded from the iPhone 4 to the Galaxy Note.

I "LOVE" the large screen. Great for seeing everything without having to zoom in like I did with the iPhone.

I "HATE" how the larger size makes the phone ackward to handle in some situations. Taking some pictures with one hand can be challenging.

I "LOVE" the pen feature and so do my customers who use credit cards and have to sign the screen. With the iPhone they had to use their finger tip and now I just pull out the nifty pen and they sign away.

I "HATE" that to call someone is a three step process. 1. Click on phone button. 2. Click name/number you wish to call. 3. Push green phone button to dial. But then again with the iPhone I had a lot of accidental calls because I touched a number and it auto dialed from that point.

I know nothing about the phone mentioned above but I keep insurance on my phone so if I break it I can easily replace it.

Also..... Do not go through the internet or actual phone stores. Find a nice "authorized agent" to buy through. I have been using the same agent for many many years and he is able to get me some better rates and I never pay for car chargers or cases.
