Just a few notes regarding this and future podcasts. We have experienced noise problems and it it is because of poor phone etiquette. Please if you dial in that you remain mute until you want to get involved in the discussion or asked by the host for a comment. Thank you. As usual Paul Winkleman has an open nearly 5 year old invitation to call in and join us. The second part of my podcast schedule is being written and scheduled now for Sunday Nights 8 PM EDT June-Nov 2012. We do not do podcasts on weekends of national holidays that are usually 3 day weekends and our last podcast is the last Sunday before Thanksgiving. Much of the schedule will be related to topics in the synopsis for the National Wildlife Control Training Program. We have eighteen hours dedicated to: Principles of Wildlife Damage Management, Physical Safety, Disease Safety,Inspection Procedures, Control Methods, Animal Handling Euthanasia & Carcass Disposal and Business Practices. These topics make sense for our new podcast program and NWCTP is a model to have a podcast series related to the same topics. Anyone want to take part in one of these discussions please PM me or Jonesie. Dave Salys I am always honored when Ron Jones takes a podcast and plans it and we all win. I will be leaning on Ron Jones & his friends a lot to make our National Wildlife Control Podcast Training Program both educational and interesting. I have no plans of selling out to no one and just want to keep putting out credible podcasts to help this industry. I am here not having the chance to post a lot though. I have a great job and it just keeps me real busy. I am backed up for weeks again and not much will change until we all meet at Kirk's in Oct near Moultrie Ga http://wcocamporee.com/

And not to change subjects but speaking of WCT, I got my WCT magazine Monday and had two sets of pages 19-26, did I get a dud copy or are they all misprinted? Anybody else notice that? Eric Arnold (Call him) is aware if you knew how to use Facebook Salys you would of known that already!! Geesh!

This is the first of 17 National Wildlife Control two hour[minimum] podcasts . Good reading before the show would be National Wildlife Control Training Program Manual before the podcast would be to pre read the raccoon module. If you do not have the manual you can also read something similar from Cornell University . http://nwco.net/08-AppendixBNuisanceSpecies/8-09-Raccoons.aspI have been asked to try and do some sort of Online Training several times in the past . This will be the closest I ever get to Online NWCO Wildlife Training a classroom without walls , and no exams to fail. I have been given a list of the additional modules being created and its a long one including armadillos, deer, alligator and mountain lions. The 2013 Podcast schedule will start out with a series on nuisance birds and then we will be doing all of the nuisance species. I think the National Wildlife Control program as a training program is a good idea. The whole politics of state certification and licensing are not the reasons why I want to do a podcast series supporting this training program. Its a good program and Ron Jones, Mike Flick and many others and I want to have a related podcast series to encourage the National Wildlife Control training program. Ron Jones and I will be taking the actual correspondence course and we encourage others to take the course right along with us. I will be taking the course through Perdue Univ. This should be a pretty cool program as Ron and I invite new names and people to each take part in this new podcast series. Right now you can take the National Wildlife Control Corresponding Course from Either Univ of Neb Lincoln, Perdue University or soon at Cornell University and soon will be offering online classes. If you are looking for some good well rounded nuisance wildlife control training course I recommend taking the courses online, or regionally when it is offered. Sites By Robb will stop doing The Wildlife Pro Network podcasts on Sundays beginning this June 2012. The Wildlife Pro Network podcasts will be moved to Thursday nights 8 PM EDT for the remainder of 2012. Most of the remainder The Wildlife Pro Network podcast schedule from June-November 2012 will be centered around the National Wildlife Control Training Curriculum. http://www.sitesbyrobb.com/sites-by-robb...dcast-schedule/The Second Part 2012 Season Summer Fall Podcast Schedule For 2012NWC CC Common Core Topics NWC Specific Species Topics

I,for one am really looking forward to this new line up robb! This raccoon podcast will be the first podcast I will actually have the entire podcast transcript available at a later date and to be actually intended to be read and not just listened too for the very first time. Huge out of pocket costs but I want to prove we can do it for our future sponsors of the National Wildlife Control Podcast Program.
