ritrapper OP trapper R Joined: Jun 2011 rhode island	I think it was about 4 coils wider. So I had to move the L brackets out and get longer timber spikes to hold the spring . The manufacturer did have a problem with the steel quality for awhile, but we have them in stock now !! Last I heard, Hancock has ceased production of traps and springs. Alan A. Huot WCS P.O.
