Got a call the other day.I can tell by her voice on the phone that this is some little old blue haired lady.
She tells me I was referred by the pest control company she called about a rat in her garage.
I explain, Maam, I do wildlife not pests, the bug people you called do rats, not me.
She gets flustered explaining her family is coming for a visit and they will stay in this room where she saw the rat, and on and on and on.

She tells me she has bought a rat trap and asked if peanut butter was a good bait? Yes Maam, I replied just dont let it get rancid in the heat.
She then says," Well they must be able to smell real good because they can't see, ya know" Im thinking Lord help me, this is somebodys Gramdma.

No Maam, I replied, they can see very well.
She says, No Honey, you're wrong they cant see , they are just like mice.

No Maam, The rats can see as good as mice can,

She says, No honey, have'nt you ever heard that song, and started singing, "three blind mice, three blind mice, see how they run....

I Almost wrecked my truck.....

....and then Leary proceeded to cut of their tails with a carving knife....

Leary, mice and rats are wildlife. I never intended to do mice but one summer when all the bug guys were busy out on forest fires doing hornets around the camps I was the only game in town. Now, mice add nicely to the bottom line.
