I have but now I mostly use a little dish soap. And I don't use very much as you don't want to remove all the natural oils your fur may have.

I use dish soap also, and with coyotes I put in fabric softener after I rinse the soap out, and then rinse well.

I wash all my coyotes with woolite. Doesn't make em dull like dish soap and gives the hair a "poofier" look. Muddy coons are usually caught near water for me. I just grab a back leg and submerge it in the creek or whatever and swish it around awhile. If I wash a coon in a washing machine like a coyote I do it before I flesh it. I don't use soap on coons. If you flesh it first the leather will be dirty looking. Coyotes I flesh first then wash. Then you don't get the animals own grease on the fur.

all my yotes get the washing machine, a little "Horse and Mane" shampoo, and two cycles of rinse (one with conditioner, one without). My yotes consistently grade higher.
A "half truth" is still a whole lie.

And I assume its in the laundry department of the stores ?? Ask the female of the house or call your mom.lol Its like a laundry soap for delicate stuff. Doesn't cause slippage or doesn't suds up, rinses clean, cleans blood right out of the fur and gives it a nice look when dry. A little goes along way. For canines after drying I also spray a little something extra on it to give the fur a good shine.

This is the order I do it, just one way of many, Spot rinse any large mud clods, skin, wash, wring-whip the water out, let dry under fan, when just damp, flesh and stretch.
