I try to keep my prices affordable, and from time to time I get someone asking for a discount. Usually ministers, and yesterday I asked the guy what he thought God would think of him asking to pay less than everyone else. He studdered a little before I hung up.

And today's sermon will be "Are There Bats in Heaven?"

Had a lady ask for a military discount the other day and yes I gave one but not sure why . A veterans discount i have no problem with . I get there and there just returning from vacation which they had to get on a air plane for . There house was like a half million . I'm thinking what ever . I did get a gov hand out shortly later . The gov program company that provides homes to low income family's had me go to a house because the neighbors said they got attack by two skunks and a bunch of rats . I went there to only find this crazy niegbor hood not happy about low income people moving on to there street and did kinda bother me seeing they didn't even know who it was that would buy this nice home for pennies on the dollar . Could be some badly wounded vet or family of a dead vet . Who knows .Why not chip in and fix the house up really nice not makeup crazy stories . The twp inspector was there as well telling me these claims of animals . I go see the garage theres not one single rat dropping . You said the lady and her dog got attacked by two skunks that spray them ,well i dont smell it and i put my dog down on that culvert and clearly told me there was no animals in there and then took a good look and its filled with cob webs so there hasnt been any animals in there latey . I finished the inspection found nothing but a ground hog that lived under a play house . I called into headquarters reported my findings and they said they had a twp order to remove the play house anyways . So I said then just remove it no need to trap out the ground hog . They said I should set traps first . So I set traps and moments later they removed the play house . I guess they just needed paper saying I set traps . I wish I could have just took the play house it would have made a great deer blind . It had these real nice small windows that swung in . 6 pitch shingled roof . It was nice . I was checking it out thinking wow I could put a bed over there and a nice heater . And here they come taking it down . It had vinyl siding on it . I could have got one of them 12 volt solar panels on the roof . Just moved right in . Must be getting old because freezing my rear end off sitting there all day just isn't as much fun . I put these nice food plots in why not have a nice warm blind .

I dont do discounts. I will do a job for free on occasion if its warrented, and close to home. I tried to trap a mouse for free for a 90 year old lady last week. She asked for the bill when I was done, and I told her to send me a Christmas card instead. She seemed offended, and told me she wasnt a charity case, and demanded that I charge her the same as every one else. I guess I wont get any Christmas cards this year.

Thats funny . They don't taking any nonsense . I asked this little old lady in line at the store where's all your cat food . She said I don't have a cat . I said I thought the seniors where eating cat food because rich people didn't pay taxes . She said no I got money for food and tuna fish is cheaper anyway . Smart little old lady and they don't make them like that anymore . I tell ya people that rip off little old lady's should burn in [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot]

How about family discount?

I don't charge my brothers n sisters. As a matter of fact, I just tell them how to do it and they do.

I was asked for a family discount for armadillos before but because I was removing the whole family. That was at around number 8.

Mike, back home in Alabama I built a really nice home for a preacher, seven figures nice. When it came time to settle up his statement to me was "But you don't understand, you built this house for the glory of God".
This backslidden baptist came very near to stomping a mudhole in an assembly of God preacher that day. To this day I gladly tell that story about John Loper of Garywood Assembly of God to anyone who cares to listen, even if it does [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] off my brother that I think his pastor is a fraud.

I hear it all the time! "I'm old and on a fixed income" or "can't you come down on your price a bit?". My answer to both is "I'm young and on a fixed income". "and yes I can come down on my price....... All the way down to zero because I'm not doing it for any cheaper than for what I estimated!"

Had a guy the other month living in a $350k condo who also owned a very large home on a lake near by scoff at an $1800 bat exclusion. Told him if he didn't like the price to find someone else or live with the bats.

I laughed at his joke and gave him the same invoice.
