Well by gosh i did a first this morning..... the neighbor came running over and said there is a skunk doing circles in his neighbors yard with a cup stuck on its head.... asked if i would come over and see what i could do... hmmmm grabbed the gun and headed over there.. well.. i sure couldnt use a gun in town.. so the next best thing was to grab it and pull the cup off its head.... ~@@~ so i walked up next to it.... reached over... (all while all the neighbors were watching from a distance) and grabbed the skunk by the tail, lifted him up in the air and grabbed the yogurt cup that was really stuck on his head, and pulled it off the tossed the skunk about 10 foot away.... no spray... cheering happy people standing around... comments... like "ive never seen anything like that before in my life"!! well... neither have I .... LMAO!!! another first for the Skunk-Whisperer

Nice , see i knew you had that look in your eye . You wanted it and now you got some tail action . Really no big deal as long as there mind is on other things when you grab there tail . Once there up off the ground it like disables there rear end pump . To bad you didn't have the cam ready because that would have been a sweet video

I Bet that ends up in the news up there or the papers . Man saves skunk from litter bug . Talk of town . Some people saying should have left it on there, others aww that guys are local animal saving hero . no that's called respect for the animals . Good PR for your company . I seen it he just grabbed his tail and pulled off the cup . I thought forsure that skunk was going to let him have it . The story will just grow to . Funny stuff

That female coon with kits in the attic would be a good one for the PAEC competition

Omg . Thanks Guys it is nice to see some + . Them videos are a lot of work . The video you all have been wanting for I'm posting on LT site soon . Yes I got bit good . Went right threw my pointer finger . My dogs fault if he wouldnt have been so protective of me I would have needed to protect the animal from him . My choice of words wouldn't be right for the kids viewing this site . Try to watch my carpentry voice these days but sometimes it just comes out . Still working on that.

You didn't need to pick up the skunk, just the cup and sling the skunk...the weight of the animal will dislodge it !!!

Me a few years ago grabbing a raccoon close to home. I made it look easy, and it was sorta, but I was pretty worked up until me and the coon were on differant sides of the cage.

Pesky, this will kill you. My wife called me and said that our ABC affiliate had called and wanted me to take the cup off the head of a skunk that was in a school yard on the south side of town. And they wanted it done for free. I said if the school district and ABC can't come up with a couple hundred bucks, they can pull the cup off themselves. That's just the kind of advertising I need. "This idiot drove for 45 minutes so we could film him; and he did it for free!"

Ya Paul I would be careful about people letting them film you in action . It's hard to say which way they might go with the story or which part of the film they might use . News crews like bad news story's and show very little good news . I would make sure it would be shown as you where helping the animal out . I turned one down not to long ago where I had removed 5 raccoon from this lady's kitchen . They wanted to do a interview and have me say the raccoons where in her kitchen because they had biult homes down the road and when they cut the trees down it made the coons homeless . Good story that people would just eat up as poor animal . The trees they where talking about where way to small to be den trees and they where not any food sorce ether . The reason she had coons eating out of her kitchen was because the problem had gone on so long they finally just moved right into the living space . They still did the story but it was the home owner telling the untrue story and they said this home owner had a wildlife control company just like this one trap the raccoons and they showed some guy spraying bugs . They have no problem making some story up and there's Paul with a big smile poster stud for poor little skunk just was hungery and this guy stuffed him in a cage ran off in his van and only cares for money . There not going to use the real true story that you clearly told them . That's not good it's a true story can't have that on the news oh lord . I for one wish they did have good news story's that was true I might even start watching the news again .

My experience with the media has all been positive in our area. I've been on ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX. All of them put us in a very good light.
