yup my beaver gig ended up this way to today.. i get over to the lake.. launch the boat.. drive to the dam to find out someone ripped it out yesterday... the association president denied hiring someone else to do it. grrrrrrrrrrr wasted half a day.. he did say he would tell his friends about me.. grrrr

that is really funny because my wife does the same thing... she throws a fit more than me.. and im bad about it. i told her to take over the PR end of this and I'll just do the work. she has denied any help. she is a couch lawyer

I see the work quite a bit Kasey. Sometimes its old, other times not. Thing I dont get is the short tubes. Sometimes I see tubes bade out of H W cloth, and the dang thing is as big as a pop can, and 2 inches long. I dont see how it could work.

Do any of you guys stay in touch with the client via email or phone say monthly if there are several months to wait?
I try to check in about every 14 days just with an email to be sure they know that we are on call and if anything new
happens (ie. bat in the residence versus the exterior or attic) that they call us immediately. I try to keep the email short
and light (not my forte!) and just reassure them we are on track to get things done proper when the maternity season
is over.

I have had a few that I bid during maternity season decide their issues were smaller than they desired to part with financially
which I understand and I would agree in their cases. I'm also sure as you do more and more work that as folks said, it will
happen, we've got a 50% deposit in our proposals but except for one recent client who insisted we don't actually use it.
